We have had Labrador Retrievers since 1975 and they have been a very large part of our life and children's lives.
In 2008 we fell in love with a new breed which compliments our Labradors which is the German Short-haired Pointer and after this decided to add this wonderful breed to our kennel as well. As of September 2023 we have decided to no longer breed the German Shorthaired Pointers here at Whiterobin Kennels. If you are interested in the line we had, please contact Noble Heritage Pointers. They have graciously agreed to keep our pointers together to join their family.
We are Premier members of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) as well as members of , Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, and the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
Our labs make good home companions as well as some have the potential for show and or hunting with the adaptability to most environments.
Puppies are raised in the house and become part of the family and get out each day for fresh air and exercise as they become of age and weather permitting.
We live on ranch land and have plenty of room for growing puppies to run and play. Our pups go home with a good foundation for basic housetraining.
Our pups have access to the indoors and outdoors from a young age, and are given the choice to do their "business" in the right spot! Dogs, by nature will not mess in their beds, unless they have no other choice. Many breeders keep their pups indoors, or even in their whelping boxes until they go home, with no choice but to "go" in their bed! This sets up any dog for difficult potty training! Our pups are usually well on their way for knowing to do their "duties" outside.
All puppies come Canadian Kennel Club registered,1st set of shots, dew claws done, de-wormed, microchipped, very well socialized, introduction to potting training, a health guarantee. We are here for you, offering our support to provide you with our care and attention to assist you in raising a well mannered puppy which will become a well mannered adult dog. We offer a LIFETIME return policy, and LIFETIME support for you and your new family member if you have any questions that we can help with please just ask.
When it comes to training some of our commonly used commands are "Come", "Sit", "Stay", "Heel", "Calm". "Wait", "Kennel", "Checkup", and finally "Free" as a release. It's very important to teach commands as early as possible and to continue using the same commands on a regular basis.
If you are interested in the hunting abilities of our dogs please email us for pedigree and more information.
We welcome you to come and visit us and see the nature and temperament of our kennel. Steve and Cindy White
